Greetings!

It's time to reconnect with friends of the Chinese Biosciences Association! CBA has planned a fun BBQ picnic on Saturday, August 18th for members, family and friends to come together and enjoy a leisure afternoon! Make plan now to join us?

If you are new to the Bay Area or our organization, the summer BBQ is the ideal setting for meeting friends, new and old from CBA. Whether it is lunging at frisbees or savoring a summertime BBQ meal, it is more fun to be among friends. We will have activities for adults and children alike--great food, volley ball, hiking trails, and face painting & bubble blowing for young kids.

Do you like to know the current business trend for biotech and pharma? Where are the opportunities in today's changing business model?

If your answer is yes, join us at our BioEntreprenur Club's event on September 7. Dr. Charles Hsu, a vertaran investor in life science, will share his view on what are the opportunities and good ideas/bad ideas on starting a bio-business. He will also talk about some successful/failed storied he has seen and his recent China's expereince.

Don't miss this great learning and netwroking opportunity. See attached for details.

Event Fee

Free for CBA current members.

$10 for adults; $3 for children 6-12; free for children 6 and under (nevertheless please register for them for food preparation)

Driving Direction

Get off I-280 at Foothill Expressway/Grant Road exit. At the bottom of ramp, turn left (south bound) onto Foothill Expressway. Stay on the Expressway and you will pass Stevens Creek cross road and as it becomes narrower, the road eventually becomes Stevens Canyon Road. Soon you will pass a reservoir and the Sycamore picnic area should be beyond the reservoir! There will be signs along the way.
