Targeted Therapy From AbGenomic
Rong-Hwa Lin, PhD, Chairman and CEO, AbGenomics Corporation Chinese Bioscience Association (CBA) is happy to announce a special seminar by Dr. Rong-Hwa Lin on therapeutic antibody. Dr. Lin's company, AbGenomics, has recently signed a landmark licensing agreement with Germany's Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH to develop, manufacture and market a product it developed. According to Taiwanese media reports, the deal is comparable to standard international licensing deals for compounds at a similar stage and could be in the range of US$50-100 million. It is the first such deal ever signed by a Taiwan-based biotechnology company with an international pharmaceutical company. Press Release.
